Today, she is the first female to reach a management post, in team leader position and continues to work in the sector, to help young females to find their way through it. With an extensive experience in maintenance of pumps compressor, turbines and condition monitoring she had taught in the faculty of mechanical engineering and oil & gas at the Australian college of Kuwait for years, enjoying an environment of her graduate students as colleagues and staff members. As a leader with business background, Dr Mona AlQattan started her career, representing external investment through Kuwait Investment Authority in London, UK and Boston, USA moved to utilizing her experience into establishing her own coaching business, Coaching 2 Potential. She obtained various coaching certifications. She is a certified coach by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), obtained a Master Coach in Leadership and Communication degree from Institute De Coaching, Geneva – Switzerland, and became a certified Strength Coach through Gallup Organization. She is the creator of “Coaching through Travel” program in which people experience coaching through exploring countries and discovering cultures. Dr Mona works with individuals from various countries, and NGOs to develop their skills, environment, to reach their potential, and achieve their goals.
